Street Photography
For my exam I have choose Street Photography because I found this the most interesting.
The London Festival of Photography defines Street Photography as ‘....un-posed, un-stages photography which captures, explores or questions contemporary society and the relationships between individuals and their surroundings’. It has been suggested that Henri Cartier Bresson and Robert frank, amongst others, are fathers of Street Photography.
Research Street Photography and produce work based on your observations of individuals and their surroundings.

Brian Sokolowski
Brian is drawn to, and tries to capture, the quiet moments in a robust, bustling city. Street photography has been a vehicle to express how he views the world, a visual extension of how he feels. He tries to take pictures of people exactly how he sees them. For Brian it is not so much about aesthetics, as it is about emotion; it is a simple need for connection with his subjects, and with his viewers. And if he occasionally attains that connection, it makes it all worth it. That’s the reason he continues to take pictures.

How To Edit Pictures On Photoshop.
The picture on the left is the original picture and I used Photoshop to turn the picture on the left into the picture on the right. Its very easy to do that, I just followed 3 easy steps and here they are.
Step 1. First, Turn your picture black and white to do that you need to click on layers at the top, click on New Adjustment Layers and then click on Black and White.
Step 2. Choose the Brush Tool and make sure your not your on the right Layer or it wont work.
Step 3. Use the brush to color the part you want to bring in as you can see on the picture I started to bring the yellow back and the background is still Black And White.
The picture on the left is the original picture and on the right is the picture I Photoshoped, using the Photoshop CS3.
Step 1. Upload your picture on Photoshop and when is done, Click on Filter, then on Filter Gallery.
Step 2. Go down and click on Brush Strokes and choose the effect called Somi-e and put the Stoke Width on 15, Stroke Pressure on 5 and Contrast on 16 then press OK , you can choose other effects as well but I found Somi-e the best and it gave me the effect I was looking for that other effect couldn't give me.
I used Windows Movie Maker ,to make my movie, it is a complex and a hard software to use , but when you get used to it you can show off your skills, I dragged and dropped my videos and pictures it in the time line and then trimmed most of them, i also added the sound effects and the music. If i was to make my project again i would definitely use this program as it is a professional software.
